X Is For… X Marks the Spot, or, Maps! — 4 Comments

  1. Awesome map, my dear. I struggled reading maps for years and do like GPS but have also been steered terribly wrong. Once, our \”final destination\” ended up being a cemetery instead of our hotel. ~grin~ I wrote about xeriscaping today over on http://darlamsands.blogspot.com/ and am number 1179 on the A to Z challenge list today. Happy writing!

    • Thanks, Darla! I had a lot of fun drawing it.

Wow, a cemetery, huh? That\’s chilling. 🙂 Glad it was the wrong destination! I fully expect to be blogging and writing with you into at least our 80\’s! 🙂

  2. I love maps. I haven\’t read too many books that have required world building. One that I think of is Stephen King\’s Under the Dome . A map of the fictional community is included and I recall referring to it many times as I read that book.

    • Hi, Arlee! Thank you for visiting.

It\’s my contention that all books require worldbuilding, but I know that\’s not an orthodox point of view. 🙂 But I know what you mean when there\’s a map included with the book; I love referring to them when I\’m reading.

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment; enjoy the challenge!
